School kids form KL International School join us for the weekend for a Snorkeling, Camping and Sea Kayaking 2 Day / 1 Night Adventure Activity Program.

The youngsters have had a fabulous time making the most of our Dive & Adventure Centre on Gaya Island - image left shows the group in front of our newly expanded Dive & Adventure Centre.

They have learned snorkeling & sea kayaking over the two day program and at the same time have enjoyed some exciting encounters with the local wildlife.

Pictured below, you can see them returning from a snorkel session to find a Monitor Lizard waiting on the beach and perhaps hoping to join in the fun !!!

Our PADI 5 Star Dive and Adventure Centre on Gaya Island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is ideally suited to groups - friends and families because we can accommodate large groups with different levels of experience and at the same time the group can be together.

We have a large staff team of international divemasters and instructors so we are able to maintain high staff to guest ratios’s, we have three speed boats 37ft, 35ft, & 32ft so groups can enjoy a dedicated team of people and private boat charters.

Cantonese and Mardarin Chinese Family Snorkeling and Scuba Diving Day Trip, Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Winsor Chui and her family enjoyed a wonderful day trip to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park in Kota Kinabalu.

Basing themselves at our Beach House Adventure Centre & PADI 5 Star Dive Centre.

Winsors parents spent the day with Clare, our PADI Divemaster who conducted a full day Discover Snorkeling Program, whilst Winsor, her husband and brother went scuba diving.

Between scuba dives we returned to the Beach House for for tea/coffee/ refreshments and lunch, where everyone could take fresh water showers, relax and enjoy the surrounding wildlife living in the primary rain forest.

A trip to our Adventure Centre is a 'Must See" day out whilst in Kota Kinabalu.

Day Trip Snorkeling Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

Downbelow's Beach House Adventure Centre based on Gaya Island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP) provides the perfect island base from which to snorkel the dive sites and coral reefs of TARP, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.

With daily pick ups from Kota Kinabalu City hotels and departure from Jesselton Point Jetty snorkelers, trekkers and scuba divers can choose from a range of daily activities.

Non swimmers can also join various programs, we provide snorkel guides and snorkel vests.

Snorkeling takes place in our shallow lagoon just in front of our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre, on our house reef and from the Dive Boat to various stunning coral reef just minutes from our Beach House.
