Underwater Net Removal Tunku Abdul Rahman Park TARP - Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Our daily dive package from Kota Kinabalu includes 3 boat dives, on the the 3rd boat dive last week our divemaster and divers were very disturbed to find a fishing net on one of our best dive sites in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park - TARP.

We think it had already been there for one night as it had claimed the lives of Bamboo Sharks and a few fishes.

So, after the guests had departed from our paradise Beach House Dive Centre for the day our staff team, decided to go and cut the net down.

It took about 1 and half hours to clear the net but we managed to remove it entirely with very little damage to the coral reef.
